After one century of psycology and many more of phylosophy, we are still unhappy and unable to cope with modern times.
Depression is quickly becoming the most widespread illness; while the average western citizen is unable to appreciate probably one of the most safest and richest ages in ages.
Today, in industrialized countries, one can grow up safely and become whatever he/she likes; it depends only on his/her skills, brains, and will.
This was never so; nevertheless young people still grow up with confusion, unhappines, stereotpye kind of criticism to society and a sense of un-powerment.
French writer Albert Camus once said that "suicide is the only serious phylosophycal issue"; similarly in our relatively rich and safe western countries we should say that "to reach a state of happiness, fulfillment and social engagement should be the only serious phylosophycal issue".
Also: why some individuals fully take advantage of the freedom we all enjoy, and become brilliant, generous and lovable human-beings; while other live in an endless confusion, lack of will, alibi-building attitude that goes nowhere?
I want to show that we lack a "science of existing" tuned to fast, heavy requests of the modern world.
A guide to existence based on strict natural, evolutive, darwinian approach is needed.
